Staff Solutions Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions with Enterprise prospects to demonstrate the value of dbt Cloud through live demos and workshops
• Consult with potential customers to uncover data challenges and identify how dbt Cloud can alleviate pain points
• Collaborate closely with Account Executives to provide strategic input throughout the deal process
• Act as the voice of the customer to internal product teams to ensure continuous product improvement
• Create and deliver external-facing content such as blog posts, tutorials, or educational resources
• Contribute to internal playbooks, processes, and knowledge-sharing initiatives

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Enterprise Pre-Sales within data operations or analytics
• Strong technical foundation in modern data warehousing architectures and the modern data stack
• Proficiency in SQL
• Experience working effectively within distributed, asynchronous teams
• Willingness to travel for events and in-person relationship building
• Ability to present confidently to diverse technical and business stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience using dbt (dbt certification is a plus)
• Basic Python competency
• Experience with traditional ETL tooling
