Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively across team boundaries
  • Partner cross-functionally with PM, UX, legal, operations, and other non-engineering roles
  • Take ownership and drive efforts to completion with independence and leadership
  • Define technical roadmaps
  • Manage team performance

Requirements

  • BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • 6+ years experience working with backend tech (e.g. C++, Spanner)
  • 6+ years of experience with Front End (Angular, Javascript, React, etc)
  • 5+ years of people management experience
  • Technical Lead or leadership skills
  • Experience in product development lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Google infrastructure (e.g. Flume, Borg, Protocol Buffers, OnePlatform) or GCP equivalent
  • Development experience with C++ or other backend programming languages
  • Development experience with frontend frameworks (e.g. Angular, React)
  • Experience with scalability and system performance
