Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive cross-team problems from definition to successful completion
• Propose and drive cross-product improvement plans and technical roadmaps
• Lead technical efforts through all phases of the software development process
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve platform and services
• Drive development of complex features across front-end, back-end, and concurrency layers
• Promote test automation, root cause analysis, and issue prevention
• Mentor developers and architects using coaching techniques
• Perform code reviews and feature analysis reviews
• Evaluate architectural approaches and develop prototypes
• Shape engineering practices regarding quality, observability, and testing

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of industry experience, or Master's degree with 8+ years
• Proficiency in C# and .NET with full stack development experience
• Understanding of applications and operating systems
• Knowledge of RDBMS, NoSQL, and distributed computing concepts
• Knowledge of Docker, Containers, Microservices, and SaaS architecture
• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, VMWare, or Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of architecting reliable, scalable, and secure applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with C++, PowerShell, Angular, or JavaScript
• Prior experience in the Observability area with a focus on networking
