Staff Software Engineer, Platform

Responsibilities

• Scale data processing and storage layers from terabytes to petabytes
• Build and maintain bidirectional, real-time integrations with dozens of EHRs
• Drive improvements to core systems to enable massive growth
• Own cross-functional projects from technical design to rollout
• Partner with engineering leaders and product managers to deliver ambitious goals

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• Focus on building scalable back-end systems and platforms
• Deep experience with Kubernetes, AWS, and PostgreSQL
• Experience scaling storage systems and cloud-native services
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices
• Strong systems-level thinking and distributed systems knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
