Responsibilities

• Drive impactful projects and lead technical decision-making
• Foster an inclusive team culture and develop high-performing teams
• Balance people management with hands-on technical leadership
• Guide teams through complex technical challenges and ensure alignment with business priorities
• Synthesize product requests into strong, reliable software components
• Take full responsibility for major features from start to finish

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience working with cross-functional software development teams
• Experience shipping and iterating on production-grade software components
• Solid understanding of architecting and scaling distributed software systems
• Ability to write robust, well-tested, and well-designed code
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Located in San Francisco, CA and open to working in office

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python, Django, Celery, Airflow, or Kafka
• Experience with React, Redux, or Mapbox
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, or AWS infrastructure
