Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering teams to design and deliver cloud-based infrastructure projects to solve reliability issues
• Design and implement robust backend frameworks, tools, microservices, and library components
• Champion scalable and resilient solutions and advise other teams on fault-tolerant system design
• Integrate AI-driven developer tooling and predictive monitoring to optimize service reliability
• Conduct rigorous design and code reviews and implement high-quality unit and functional tests
• Lead incident Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes to identify systemic weaknesses
• Collaborate with Architects, QA, Product Owners, and Tech Ops to deliver secure software
• Mentor new engineering hires and interns

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a software developer
• Expert-level knowledge of Java
• Experience with Golang is a strong plus
• Proven history of architecting and debugging global cloud software
• Deep understanding of microservices and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Track record of addressing scaling and performance bottlenecks in multi-tenant SaaS environments
• Experience or interest in leveraging generative AI for development productivity
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
• Must be a U.S. person (citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual)
