About the role

About the Company

Nimble is an AI robotics company building the autonomous supply chain to power fast, efficient and economical commerce. We’re training robot AGI to power a proprietary generalist supply chain superhumanoid, the first robot in the world capable of performing thousands of tasks across the supply chain.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop well-architected production-level software systems for robot coordination, multi-robot simulations, system state management, and operational workflows
  • Build and maintain integrations with robot platforms, warehouse management systems, APIs, services, and data systems
  • Improve reliability and scalability through robust testing, observability, incident response, and performance tuning
  • Triage and root-cause field issues reported from the Warehouse
  • Work closely with robotics engineers, ML engineers, multi‑robot coordination teams, and product teams
  • Mentor other engineers and contribute to improving team processes and technical standards
  • Participate in and lead design reviews, code reviews, and technical planning sessions

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 6 years of experience in production‑level software development in C++, Python, or Rust
  • Experience with distributed systems, backend services, API design, CI/CD, AWS, and Kubernetes
  • Experience designing scalable systems and leading complex technical projects
  • Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills
