Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define and execute multi-year, multi-team technical strategies with measurable business impact
• Lead the design and delivery of complex, large-scale technical solutions and scalable software architectures
• Drive alignment across engineering teams to prioritize impactful customer outcomes and technical roadmaps
• Mentor engineers and foster a strong culture of technical excellence and professional growth
• Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate technical risks to ensure system reliability
• Partner with product teams to align technical trade-offs with customer value and business needs

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience delivering high-impact, multi-team technical projects
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, C#, C++, or Python
• Experience with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and NoSQL data stores
• Proven experience developing production-quality RESTful APIs and microservices
• Experience with cloud-native application development using Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
• Demonstrated proficiency in using AI tools (such as Copilot, Claude, or ChatGPT) to enhance workflow efficiency
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
