Staff Software Engineer (ML QA)

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust test infrastructure and automation for a complex ML software stack
• Architect and evolve test frameworks and tooling with a focus on scalability and maintainability
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines targeting simulators, emulators, and physical hardware
• Create representative ML workloads for numerical accuracy and performance analysis
• Review code and designs to set high standards for software engineering best practices
• Mentor and support junior engineers to raise technical capability

Requirements

• Experience in production-quality software engineering roles
• Strong software design and architecture skills for complex systems
• Proficiency in Python and building production codebases
• Experience with CI/CD systems and automated testing
• Experience working in Linux environments
• Ability to read, debug, and reason about C or C++ code
• Degree in Computer Science, Maths, Machine Learning, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to ML frameworks like PyTorch, JAX, Triton, or TensorFlow
• Experience with Kubernetes, VLLM, Keras, or MLOps pipelines
• Experience with hardware simulators or emulators such as QEMU
• Experience developing for FPGA-based systems
