Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the architecture and development of a world class agentic platform
• Work with cross functional partners to define requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Lead or support high impact initiatives that expand platform capabilities
• Mentor engineers and provide thoughtful feedback to elevate technical quality
• Build well structured, testable, and resilient services for production environments
• Adapt quickly to evolving priorities in a fast-paced startup environment

Requirements

• 8 to 10 years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience building backend services in TypeScript/Node and Java
• Experience with Spring Boot is highly desirable
• Experience setting technical direction and making architecture decisions
• Relevant telephony experience (SIP, Twilio, or similar) or ability to learn the domain rapidly
• Strong communication and ability to articulate technical tradeoffs

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with LLMs, retrieval augmented generation (RAG), or agentic systems
