Staff Software Engineer/Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver industry-leading software solutions while driving technical strategy and innovation.
• Mentor and guide engineers within the squad, assisting with technical challenges and fostering a high-performance culture.
• Develop and maintain software development processes, standards, and best practices to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Promote engineering excellence through peer reviews, analysis tools, and the evaluation of emerging technologies.
• Take technical responsibility across all stages of the software development lifecycle, including planning and driving construction activities.
• Contribute to the reduction of technical debt and participate in articulating the technical roadmap and architecture.

Requirements

• Technical degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in engineering development for a Product SaaS organization.
• Experience leading the conceptualization and development of a portfolio of products or SaaS-based products.
• Full Stack development expertise with proficiency in C# and .NET Core.
• Hands-on experience with the Azure Cloud Platform and Azure DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of Microservices, REST/WCF Services, and API Gateways.
• Professional experience working within the Financial Services industry.

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-graduate studies in advanced computer science subjects.
• An MBA in Systems.
• Experience with modern frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and Bootstrap.
• Familiarity with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing tools like Playwright or NUnit.
