Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop efficient, reusable, and reliable code across frontend and backend components
• Work with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications and deliver high-quality solutions
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs to improve performance, scalability, and security
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
• Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with Product and Customer Success teams to flesh out business requirements

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience with a full-stack focus
• Strong understanding of React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Strong understanding of Node.js, messaging queues (AWS SQS), MongoDB, and NestJS
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Proven ability to take ownership and act with initiative
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI technologies
• Familiarity with NextJS, TailwindCSS, or component libraries
• Experience with Python (Django, FastAPI, or Flask)
• Familiarity with Airflow and PostgreSQL
• Daily use of AI in professional workflows
