Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and technical design for major features, services, and platform capabilities
• Drive implementation of secure, scalable, and reliable software across cloud, data center, and hybrid environments
• Provide technical leadership for SaaS platforms, automation, and large-scale system integration
• Partner with product management, engineering, QA, and UX/UI teams to define requirements
• Guide teams through design reviews, code reviews, and production readiness
• Define and improve engineering standards for quality, security, performance, and CI/CD
• Mentor Staff, Senior, and mid-level engineers
• Communicate project status, risks, and design trade-offs to stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience with SaaS platforms, distributed systems, or enterprise applications
• Proven experience leading complex technical initiatives across multiple teams
• Strong expertise in architecture, system design, and application security
• Hands-on experience with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and automated testing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with IT management tools, automation platforms, or cybersecurity software
• Proficiency with Java, C#, .NET, MySQL, SQL, or AWS
• Familiarity with cloud-native, N-tier, MVC, and client-server architectures
• Ability to influence technical decisions and mentor engineers without direct management authority
