Staff Software Engineer, Integrations Platform

Responsibilities

• Drive long-term architectural decisions and manage abstraction trade-offs
• Own the architecture of the ingestion pipeline including ingestion, transformation, routing, and observability
• Design secure authoring frameworks for engineers, partners, and AI agents
• Track and simplify the platform surface across onboarding, customer setup, and ops workflows
• Coach the team through collaborative design reviews and pairing
• Integrate operability directly into platform design
• Scale impact by framing projects that enable other engineers to contribute

Requirements

• 8+ years building scalable, observable SaaS systems
• Track record of leading multi-quarter platform or integrations work
• Experience designing SDKs, authoring frameworks, or systems for safe product extension
• Deep fluency in TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS primitives (Lambda, SQS, S3)
• Hands-on experience with non-API integration patterns like webhooks, multi-tenant OAuth, or iPaaS bridges
• Experience with event-driven data pipelines on AWS
• Fluency with AI coding tools and a perspective on platform design with AI agents as authors
