Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own technical execution for massive-scale physical AI training data
• Build and lead development of core platforms like Instawork Lens and Instawork Prism
• Architect and scale cloud environments and video transcoding pipelines using AWS and ECS
• Design data pipelines to process petabytes of global video and telemetry data
• Use agentic AI models to accelerate engineering velocity
• Provide cross-functional mentorship through code reviews and architectural guidance

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, database internals, and network constraints
• Extensive full-stack experience with Python, Django, React, or similar frameworks
• Hands-on experience with AWS, ECS, Docker, and CloudWatch
• Experience designing scalable backend systems for high-throughput applications
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, 0-1 startup environments
