Staff Software Engineer, Imaging Platform

Responsibilities

• Develop optimized image processing and multi-camera algorithms on automotive platforms and GPUs using OpenCL/OpenGL APIs
• Identify, analyze, architect, develop and debug system software for Camera/Imaging, Computer Vision, and deep learning features on Linux, QNX, and Android systems
• Deliver quality code and debug complex problems with high efficiency and urgency
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and algorithms teams to deliver a scalable end-to-end software stack

Requirements

• Experience with optimizing code across heterogeneous computing engines (CPU/GPU/DSP/NPU)
• Experience with AI SDKs and building systems on edge devices
• Hands-on experience with C++/C on *nix and/or RTOS-based systems
• Experience with HAL architectures, preferably Camera HAL
• Understanding of interface protocol stacks such as SPI, I2C, and Ethernet
• Deep understanding of the camera processing pipeline including ISP, sensors, and SerDes
• Familiarity with RTOS kernels (ThreadX or QNX), IPC, and driver models
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or Computer Engineering

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in EE/Computer Science with emphasis in image processing, graphics, or AI
• Experience with automotive surround view systems and GPU implementation using OpenGL, Vulkan, or OpenCL
• Familiarity with HW bring up, MIPI/CSI, V4L2, and SerDes drivers
• Track record of innovation via patents or peer-reviewed publications
