Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of cutting-edge, high-performance data integration solutions and deep tech ELT products.
• Architect scalable systems that seamlessly connect disparate data sources to unlock full data value for organizations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance core products and tackle complex technical challenges.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to elevate overall product quality and performance.
• Research emerging technologies and evaluate their potential applications to drive continuous innovation.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers within a collaborative, high-ownership environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of software development experience within an enterprise background.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or C++.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, data integration patterns, and cloud-based architectures.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with open-source data processing engines like Spark, Kafka, or Flink.
• Experience developing with concurrent and non-blocking systems (e.g., distributed file systems, non-blocking IO, database replication, or streaming platforms).
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software projects and excellent analytical skills.
