Staff Software Engineer, Graphs

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, maintenance, and development of cloud-native data ingest and aggregation processes.
• Drive the delivery of features across the product suite to detect market manipulation, fraud, and behavioral patterning.
• Own and scale high-performance services on AWS that handle thousands of requests per second.
• Lead modernization efforts towards a streaming architecture and set technical best practices.
• Drive the direction and enablement of the graphing platform used to visualize blockchain insights.
• Mentor and grow engineers across the team, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Debug and resolve complex production issues across multiple systems and services.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience working on complex backend and/or frontend systems.
• Proven experience leading the design and implementation of cloud-native services on AWS or GCP.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages, specifically Java or TypeScript.
• Strong track record of mentoring engineers and leading cross-team technical decisions.
• Experience integrating AI impactfully into customer-facing products or engineering infrastructure.
• Ability to align technical execution with product and design partners.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI-friendly and AI-driven systems.
• Exposure to or a strong interest in the cryptocurrency technology ecosystem.
• Knowledge of Terraform and Kubernetes.
