Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance software systems
• Lead complex technical initiatives spanning multiple teams or systems
• Contribute actively to the codebase through design, development, code reviews, and performance optimizations
• Champion modern practices including automation, observability, and resiliency
• Mentor engineers and promote high standards in coding, testing, documentation, and system design
• Partner with Product Management, Marketing, and Operations to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Provide leadership during planning, estimation, and execution phases

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
• 8-10 years of experience designing and building distributed software systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft tech stack (.Net, C#)
• Experience with cloud services (Azure/AWS, Lambda, SQS, API Gateway, ECS, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with messaging systems like Kafka or Azure Service Bus
• Knowledge of Entity Framework, LINQ, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
• Experience implementing responsive UI using HTML5, CSS3, and Angular
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools
• Experience with unit, integration, and API testing strategies

Preferred Qualifications

• Multi-cloud and serverless experience (Azure & AWS Step Functions)
• Experience leveraging AI-powered tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor
• Exposure to AI/ML integration for predictive analytics
