Staff Software Engineer, Fullstack (Marketing)

Responsibilities

• Focus on creating exceptional user and partner experiences that drive engagement and retention
• Partner with product managers, designers, and data scientists to solve user onboarding challenges
• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust APIs, services, and data pipelines
• Implement changes through agile methodology and rapid iteration
• Utilize data and analytics to measure impact and identify optimization opportunities

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Java
• 3+ years of experience with React or React Native
• 3+ years of experience with TypeScript
• Proven experience building high-quality mobile and web UIs
• Proficiency in Java frameworks including Spring (core/web/boot), Gradle, JUnit, and JVM tuning
• Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture, REST APIs, and Message Queues
• Experience with AWS (EKS, Aurora RDS, Elasticache, DynamoDB) and containerization

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building and improving user onboarding funnels and designing experiments
• Proficiency in CI/CD systems like GitHub Actions
• Experience with observability tools such as DataDog
• Experience with big data platforms like Snowflake
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using CDK or Terraform
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and elevating team standards
