Responsibilities
- Build and improve APIs, microservices, and frontend experiences that power government agencies at scale
- Own features end-to-end from definition to production monitoring
- Build AI-powered product features including intelligent data analysis and agent-driven workflows
- Use AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot as a core part of the workflow
- Produce clean, well-documented code and conduct thorough reviews of human and AI-generated code
- Collaborate across the organization to translate business priorities into shipped features
Requirements
- 12+ years of Full stack development experience in an agile environment
- Strong experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (React or similar)
- Strong backend development experience with NodeJS
- Experience building heavily utilized enterprise SaaS software
- Proficiency working across the full stack including frontend, backend, and data layers
- Experience building APIs and designing database models (SQL and NoSQL)
- Experience with event-driven patterns
- Active use of AI-assisted development tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building AI-powered product features such as agents, AI-driven UX, or retrieval systems
- Demonstrated experience working directly with customers to improve product experiences
- Track record of mentoring and driving team process innovation
- Previous work in govtech, fintech, or regulated SaaS environments
