Staff Software Engineer, Full-Stack

Responsibilities

• Architect and design scalable, high-performance software solutions
• Define and drive technical vision, strategy, and architecture
• Handle data driven events and ensure robust event handling at scale
• Optimise existing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Actively engage in hands-on coding and development
• Provide technical leadership, guiding and mentoring junior engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
• Experience with scalable system design and development
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Design Patterns
• Experience with modern tech stacks including Go, Docker, and Cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong understanding of code architecture and documentation practices
• Proven experience in technical leadership and mentoring

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a Staff or Principal Software Engineer in a large-scale product company
• Experience building and debugging production web applications
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as AWS Code Pipeline or GitHub Actions
