Staff Software Engineer, Frontend

Responsibilities

• Architect component libraries, shared abstractions, and foundational TypeScript and React code
• Build tooling and infrastructure to maintain high quality and velocity for feature teams
• Drive a culture of high-quality craft through code review, documentation, and collaboration
• Scale a rich component library with an emphasis on reusability and accessibility
• Write tests, documentation, and structured briefs for agentic development workflows
• Design and build highly interactive, performant experiences for exploring and listening to music
• Obsess over product performance, accessibility, and craft

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience shipping production web apps
• Advanced expertise in TypeScript, React, NextJS, and CSS
• Experience building complex, modular, and maintainable responsive web apps
• Ability to translate ambitious prototypes into production-ready code
• Strong communication skills for collaborating across engineering, design, and product teams
• Passion for web performance metrics

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building developer tooling and automation pipelines
• Familiarity with design systems and shared component libraries
• Experience with AI-assisted development workflows
• A love of music
