Extend is building a modern document processing cloud on a mission to transform how the world works with unstructured data. We are a high-performance, talent-dense team tackling novel problems at the intersection of LLMs, complex data processing, and human-AI interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain durable, scalable systems capable of processing tens of millions of data points per month
• Design and implement innovative human-AI interfaces for document processing
• Take complete ownership of large product and engineering areas
• Work directly with the CEO, CTO, and founding members to build out the team

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building complex software systems in production environments
• Proven experience at high-growth startups
• Ability to take abstract projects end-to-end with high agency
• Experience deploying AI/ML systems into production environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with developer tools
