Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Managers to define ambiguous requirements and determine impactful solutions for customers
• Lead technical strategy and execution for systems surrounding log query performance and ingestion at scale
• Explore and prototype new capabilities in AI-powered log management, security, and advanced query capabilities
• Mentor engineers across all levels to foster a high-performing, collaborative team culture

Requirements

• Deep experience architecting and scaling backend systems, specifically with data-intensive or distributed infrastructure
• Proven expertise in debugging complex systems and optimizing real-time data pipelines
• Ability to excel in ambiguous environments with a mix of drive, curiosity, and pragmatic decision-making
• Demonstrated experience using AI coding tools and agents in day-to-day engineering workflows
• Experience partnering with product teams to define direction and ship impactful features

Preferred Qualifications

• Motivation to push the boundaries of how AI can improve software engineering best practices
• Experience contributing to the development of AI-enabled software capabilities
