Staff Software Engineer (Data)

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain web services for configuration, monitoring, and data ingestion
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for content recognition and analysis
• Create tools and libraries for back-end data processes in collaboration with data science teams
• Ensure data quality, security, and timeliness through testing, code review, and monitoring

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field
• 8+ years of experience in backend services and distributed data systems
• Proficiency with Python and modern engineering best practices
• Experience building large-scale batch and streaming data pipelines
• Experience with AWS infrastructure, DevOps tooling, and CI/CD
• Expertise in cloud-hosted, containerized web service architectures
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and data lake technologies
• Experience with big data frameworks like Spark, Databricks, or Flink
