Staff Software Engineer - Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve a multi-tenant, cloud-scale data platform to power analytical products and AI-driven experiences.
• Drive the evolution from batch-oriented processing to near real-time and real-time data ingestion architectures.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using batch, streaming, and CDC-based methods.
• Implement data quality frameworks, monitoring solutions, and ensure strong tenant isolation and governance.
• Optimize large-scale data processing through query optimization and performance tuning.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Deep expertise in Python, SQL, and Apache Spark.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EMR, S3, Glue, and Athena.
• Strong knowledge of dimensional modeling, Data Vault, and enterprise data architecture.
• Experience with workflow orchestration using Airflow.
• Proficiency with lakehouse technologies such as Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg, or Apache Hudi.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with streaming technologies like Kafka, Flink, or Kinesis.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Experience implementing data quality and monitoring solutions at scale.
• Strong understanding of partitioning, schema evolution, and performance optimization.
