Staff Software Engineer, Cloud Platform

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of scalable product features on the Poshmark platform for content and commerce
• Partner with platform security and content integrity teams to execute initiatives related to payments, shipping, and content
• Identify technical opportunities for platform improvements and lead the transition towards a microservices architecture
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, data, and science teams to drive projects from conception to release
• Mentor and lead other team members

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience building products in a high scale environment
• Experience mentoring other engineers
• Experience building user trust models or anti-spam product enhancements is a plus
• Understanding of web technologies and cross-platform tracking is a plus
