Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain a full-stack platform using React.js, Node.js, GraphQL, and REST APIs
• Lead technical decisions across the stack to balance performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Design and optimize APIs, service patterns, and database schemas for efficient data retrieval
• Drive observability and operational excellence through logging, monitoring, and performance analysis
• Mentor engineers through design reviews, architecture discussions, and pair programming
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies and tooling to improve engineering efficiency

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• Deep expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript environments
• Strong experience with Node.js, GraphQL (Apollo or Relay), and RESTful services
• Proficiency with React.js and scalable frontend architecture
• Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Experience with event-driven systems and messaging infrastructure
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP)
• Strong understanding of CI/CD and automated testing practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python for backend services or automation
• Experience improving design systems or UI platform foundations
• Experience leading initiatives in platformization or financial/accounting systems
• Advanced degree in Computer Science or Engineering
