Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale backend systems end-to-end, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability
• Lead greenfield development projects and make foundational technical decisions
• Partner with product, design, data science, and engineering teams to build impactful features
• Drive technical leadership in system design, coding, testing, and DevOps best practices
• Scope and optimize products that deliver immediate value to users

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience designing and scaling high-performance backend systems
• Expertise in architecting large-scale distributed systems
• Ability to collaborate across technical areas with frontend and mobile teams
• Strong understanding of data privacy, compliance, and secure coding practices
• Experience designing resilient systems that meet high security and regulatory standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with lending, credit cards, payments, or other financial services
• Familiarity with mobile app ecosystems and fintech
