Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work across the entire stack to develop new products, features, and tools for autonomy development workflows
• Identify and scope complex engineering challenges and lead implementation across teams
• Design elegant solutions for difficult problems in the autonomy space
• Influence technical strategy by balancing new features, scaling challenges, and technical debt
• Collaborate with domain experts in infrastructure, robotics, and graphics

Requirements

• 7-10+ years of experience shipping complex software
• Proven experience designing and implementing solutions to complex architectural problems
• Production experience writing in C++, Python, TypeScript, or Golang
• Experience mentoring software engineers

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of frontend, API layer, containerization, or cluster orchestration (React, GraphQL, Docker, or Kubernetes)
• Experience with simulation tools or modeling physical problems
• Experience using robotics middlewares such as ROS
