Staff Software Engineer (Applied AI)

Responsibilities

• Set the standard for applying AI agents across the stack to automate the staffing pipeline.
• Architect and lead core systems, including real-time matching and autonomous vetting pipelines.
• Own the long-term architecture for the platform to ensure scalability for future growth.
• Drive backend performance, reliability, and scale across distributed systems.
• Partner with the CTO on key architectural decisions and iterate on the product roadmap.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience with TypeScript/Node.js or Python.
• Deep expertise in PostgreSQL and data modeling.
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Strong background in distributed systems design and API design.
• Proven track record of shipping and leading high-velocity projects at scale.
• Ability to thrive in an early-stage environment and own ambiguous technical directions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building or integrating AI/LLM systems in a production environment.
• Experience with deployment infrastructure and full-stack application design.
