Staff Software Engineer (AI Platform)

Responsibilities

• Shape the design, development, and deployment of scalable, reliable, and innovative AI and GenAI solutions
• Lead high-impact projects and set technical direction for the AI Platform
• Mentor senior and junior engineers to raise the bar for code quality
• Drive architectural decisions and evaluate technical tradeoffs
• Take full ownership of projects in a DevOps model, from ideation to monitoring
• Partner with product managers, data scientists, and engineering leadership

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in software engineering
• Deep expertise in Python, FastAPI, PyTest, and Celery
• Experience building large-scale, production-grade distributed systems and microservices
• Significant experience building AI/ML or GenAI applications
• Understanding of model training, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management
• Familiarity with frameworks like LangChain and LangGraph
• Hands-on experience with modern ML techniques, generative models, or LLMs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with advanced ML algorithms, NLP, transformers, or diffusion models
• Familiarity with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, MSSQL, PostgreSQL)
• Experience with GCP technologies (VertexAI, BigQuery, GKE, GCS, DataFlow)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or infrastructure-as-code
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka
• Proficiency in additional languages like C#, Java, or Scala
