Staff Software Engineer, Agentic AI

Responsibilities

• Identify high-leverage opportunities for agentic systems across Product, Design, and Engineering
• Architect and build internal platforms for agentic workflows, including context retrieval and observability
• Design reusable services, APIs, and patterns to support AI-assisted workflows
• Establish evaluation frameworks and monitoring for agentic system quality and reliability
• Create playbooks and standards to help teams adopt effective AI-assisted ways of working
• Mentor engineers through design guidance and code reviews

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience building with AI, LLM-powered, or agentic systems in real environments
• Strong full-stack engineering skills (TypeScript, Node, React)
• Deep experience with cloud providers and infrastructure-as-code
• Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives
• Experience with modern AI tooling (AI-assisted coding, automated debugging)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, digital health, or regulated domains (HIPAA, PHI, SOC 2)
• Experience evaluating vendors and making build-vs-buy decisions
• Experience extending AI-assisted workflows to customers
