Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop resilient distributed services and high-quality tooling to support product operations and engineering
• Investigate and debug complex issues that span across multiple teams and applications
• Drive software delivery and improve engineering processes for development and release cycles
• Work across the organization to promote developer velocity and robust process automation

Requirements

• Extensive backend software engineering experience
• Proficiency in developing with server-side OO languages, specifically Java
• Proficiency with Linux environments
• Familiarity with infrastructure components including CI/CD, monitoring, logging, containers, and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with HTTP, REST, and web APIs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in ambiguous spaces and solving complex technical challenges
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with a bias for action
