Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain engineering solutions to solve complex problems using well-designed, testable code.
• Lead individual project priorities, deadlines, and technical solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and partners to deliver high-quality products.
• Mentor other engineers on the team and foster an inclusive engineering culture.
• Act as an engineering representative to clients and product support, steering communications from a technical standpoint.
• Provide active support for business needs during US hours.
• Write clean, efficient, scalable, and extensible code for a cloud-native onboarding system.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a similar technical field.
• Minimum of 9+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in backend development, specifically with Java.
• Proven experience building scalable architectures on AWS or other public cloud platforms.
• Expert-level proficiency in designing and developing scalable microservice architectures.
• Experience working with various database types, including SQL, NoSQL, and OLAP.
• Ability to support business needs during US business hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python or React.
• Experience in data processing and analysis using SQL, PySpark, or similar frameworks.
• A strong ownership mentality and a passion for smart automation.
