Staff Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Responsibilities

• Develop, promote, and maintain quality standards and control systems
• Build and maintain test automation frameworks for UI, Contract, and API testing
• Collaborate with developers and engineering managers to establish automation best practices
• Monitor and analyze the health of automation testing pipelines and quality performance
• Assist developers with testing issues and mentor the team on automation techniques
• Optimize workflows and processes within CI/CD pipelines
• Perform manual verification of full feature testing across supported devices
• Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities within Agile/Scrum frameworks

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in quality engineering
• Proficiency in developing code using Java
• Extensive experience developing Test Automation Frameworks with tools such as Pact, Postman, Cypress, or Karate
• Proven experience testing REST APIs within a microservices environment
• Experience with Jenkins, Cloudbees, and CI/CD workflows
• Familiarity with AWS and testing SaaS applications
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores
• Familiarity with observability tools like Kibana or Datadog
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience using Jira and Confluence in an Agile environment
