Staff Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement infrastructure components including centralized developer portals and tooling
• Manage AWS footprint for multi-region availability, disaster recovery, and cost efficiency
• Define Infrastructure as Code (IaC) patterns and maintain module libraries
• Develop and optimize custom Kubernetes operators and controllers
• Build automated security controls and policy-as-code for platform compliance
• Identify and resolve friction points to improve developer experience
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through code reviews and technical leadership
• Collaborate with engineering teams to gather requirements and mitigate risks

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles
• Proficiency with Terraform and managing IaC at scale
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals, networking, and service mesh
• Proven experience with GitOps workflows using ArgoCD or Flux
• Strong automation and scripting skills in Python, Bash, or GoLang
• Experience with major Cloud Service Providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience maintaining and optimizing CI pipelines
