Staff Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of internal AI-assisted reliability tooling to analyze tickets, logs, traces, and documentation
• Improve observability coverage and signal quality for critical customer-facing systems
• Own end-to-end incident response, from detection to remediation and documentation
• Guide the development of customer and user-facing observability tools
• Define and mature SLO/SLI frameworks for priority services
• Scale cloud operations practices for single-tenant SaaS offerings
• Mentor engineers and shape SRE practices, including incident response and post-incident learning culture

Requirements

• Deep experience in Site Reliability Engineering, platform engineering, or software engineering with operational ownership
• Fluency with Kubernetes, Linux, cloud platforms, and observability tooling
• Strong software engineering skills in Python or Go
• Proven track record of building internal tools or services
• Ability to lead technically ambiguous work and influence direction across teams
• Experience improving reliability through engineering and automation
• Strong communication and mentoring skills
• Sound judgment regarding the application of AI/LLM tooling in operational workflows

• Experience with LLM-based systems
• Experience with retrieval workflows
• Experience with SaaS platform operations
• Experience building tooling for support or developer teams
