About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end SI/PI closure for programs across the full lifecycle, from pre-silicon to production.
  • Act as the system SI/PI owner across the entire platform, including SoC, package, board, connectors, and external systems.
  • Define design targets and layout guidelines for all high-speed interfaces.
  • Drive design convergence across silicon, package, and platform teams to ensure alignment with product KPIs.
  • Lead the debug of complex issues such as eye collapse, jitter margin, crosstalk, and power noise.
  • Influence PDN architecture definition at the system and package levels to provide optimum cost solutions.
  • Mentor senior engineers across various SI/PI domains and establish company-wide methodologies.
  • Drive SI/PI for high-speed interfaces including LPDDR4/5/6, PCIe Gen4/5/6/7, USB4, UFS, and MIPI CSI/DSI.

Requirements

  • 12–18+ years of experience in Signal Integrity, Power Integrity, or high-speed systems.
  • Proven track record of ownership for multiple tapeouts or high-volume products.
  • Deep expertise in Transmission line theory, EM fundamentals, and SI/PI interactions.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with simulation tools such as HFSS, ADS, Sigrity, CST, SIwave, or HSPICE.
  • Proficiency with measurement equipment including VNA, TDR, and real-time scopes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with advanced packaging technologies like FCBGA and 2.5D/3D.
  • Background working with Data Center, Compute, and Server products.
  • A track record of patents, standards contributions, or published work in industry conferences.
