Staff Scientist I

Responsibilities

• Consult with PIs and senior trainees to provide expertise on neuroimaging protocol design, implementation, and analysis
• Introduce cutting-edge imaging techniques to core facility users and provide technical support
• Liaise with MRI vendors to adopt new sequences and technologies
• Manage core facility infrastructure, including XNAT for data storage and transmission
• Collaborate with researchers to ensure best practices are applied to neuroimaging projects
• Initiate scientific and technical collaborations across UHN and other partner hospitals

Requirements

• PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Biomedical Engineering
• 3-5 years of postgraduate experience in neuroimaging
• Strong expertise in optimizing and implementing MR sequences and analysis pipelines
• Proven record of methodological or technical contributions in the field of MRI
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI approaches to data analysis
