Staff RN

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the 7E Progressive Care Unit using the nursing process and established medical protocols.
• Assess patient history, physiological, and psychosocial status to formulate and carry out individualized care plans.
• Manage complex patient needs, including IV access maintenance, medication administration, and monitoring for hyper/hypotension or dysrhythmias.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to facilitate safe and timely discharge planning and patient education.
• Adhere to infection prevention guidelines, safety standards, and organizational quality goals.
• Provide specialized care for bariatric surgery patients, ensuring proper equipment and post-operative education are provided.

Requirements

• College Diploma in Nursing.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• BCLS or ACLS Certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
