Staff RN - CardioVascular ICU

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized nursing care to patients in the Cardiovascular ICU using the nursing process
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and provide appropriate clinical interventions
• Administer vasoactive drugs, antiarrhythmics, and other cardiac or emergency medications
• Monitor patients receiving thrombolytic agents, including intra-arterial monitoring
• Utilize technical equipment and life-sustaining devices to monitor patient conditions
• Assess patient history, physiological status, and psychosocial status
• Provide individualized patient and family education throughout the care continuum
• Adhere to infection prevention guidelines and safety protocols to ensure optimal care

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License
• ACLS Certification
• 1 year of experience in an acute care setting or completion of an accredited critical care course (AACN/California BRN)
