About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for high-level staff positions across national and international departments
- Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans to attract top talent aligned with firm goals
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and provide guidance on recruiting best practices
- Actively source candidates through job boards, recruitment platforms, and alternative strategic sourcing tools
- Build and maintain relationships with agency search firms and negotiate contractual terms
- Conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate candidate expertise and suitability
- Extend verbal and written employment offers and manage complex negotiations
- Maintain the applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure data integrity
- Track key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill and cost-per-hire to report findings to leadership
- Coordinate pre-employment checks and partner with stakeholders to create meaningful onboarding plans
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Proven experience as a full-cycle recruiter
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the firm
- Ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously and reprioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience within a legal environment
- Demonstrated experience seeking and placing talent on a global scale
