Staff Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve the AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS)
• Plan and perform internal, supplier, and customer audits
• Lead nonconformance management, root cause investigations, and CAPA
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to resolve quality issues
• Develop quality metrics, technical reports, and risk assessments
• Support Supplier Quality activities including qualification, audits, and performance monitoring
• Support document control and engineering change implementation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, etc.) or related technical discipline
• 7+ years of professional experience in Supplier, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Quality
• Previous experience within the aerospace or space industry
• Demonstrated experience with AS9100 Internal Audits and QMS
• Internal Auditor qualification
• Experience working in ISO Class 7/8 cleanroom environments
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and EHS requirements
• Strong technical writing and ability to interpret engineering drawings
• Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis, IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and ESD control

Preferred Qualifications

• AS9100 Auditor certification
• Experience with optical, electronic, or photonic assemblies
• Experience supporting customer and regulatory certification audits
• Spanish language proficiency
