Form Energy is an American manufacturing and energy technology company revolutionizing energy storage with cost-effective, multi-day technology designed to keep the electric grid secure and reliable. Our iron-air battery production is underway at our first high-volume manufacturing facility in West Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Design and Manufacturing Engineering to develop and document measurement, inspection, and test methods
- Support change management and execution of process development experiments
- Regularly review PFMEAs and Control Plans and support updates and revisions
- Lead and assist in the identification and resolution of manufacturing quality issues
- Participate in continuous improvement activities with Design, Manufacturing Engineering, and external Suppliers
- Support Statistical Process Control (SPC) activities to reduce manufacturing variation
- Lead non-conforming material control activities
Requirements
- 5-10 years of quality systems experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with SPC, PFMEAs, and Control Plans
- Strong aptitude with electronic test and measurement systems
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Structured problem-solving (8D) and analytical skills
- Technical skills in statistical tools, Design of Experiments (DOE), and Process Capability (Cpk, Ppk)
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field
