Staff Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize Ongoing Reliability Testing (ORT) strategies, including sample selection, test setup, and data analysis.
• Define and implement ORT plans and stress tests tailored to specific product applications and use conditions.
• Perform product qualifications for new products, second sources, and material or process changes.
• Ensure product compliance with internal specifications and international standards such as JEDEC, AEC, and IATF 16949.
• Lead failure analysis for ORT and qualification failures using electrical, mechanical, and materials analysis techniques.
• Drive root cause identification and implement corrective actions through FMEA, 8D, and other quality tools.
• Communicate reliability data and risk assessments to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Participate in risk assessments (DFMEA, PFMEA) to ensure long-term reliability and implement mitigation actions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or reliability engineering.
• Deep knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes (wafer fab, assembly, and test).
• Extensive experience with Ongoing Reliability Testing (ORT) and reliability monitoring.
• Expert-level understanding of industry standards including JEDEC and AEC.
• Proven experience with failure analysis workflows and quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, and root cause analysis.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Fluency in written and verbal English.
• Ability to travel internationally at short notice.
