Staff Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define, perform, and review product qualification for new products, material changes, and process changes, with a focus on modules and SiP.
• Implement suitable stress tests for product/module applications to ensure reliability.
• Ensure product compliance with internal specifications, customer requirements, and industry standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, IEC, and JEDEC.
• Participate in risk assessments (e.g., DFMEA) and ensure mitigation actions are implemented and validated.
• Coordinate failure analysis for qualification failures using electrical, mechanical, or materials analysis techniques.
• Review qualification test results and provide quality approval for production release or change management.
• Generate and publish comprehensive qualification reports.
• Communicate qualification plans and data with customers at the Silicon, Package, and Board levels.
• Feed lessons learned from quality issues back into design and process improvements.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in quality assurance or reliability engineering.
• Deep understanding of the semiconductor industry, including modules and SiP for AI/data center applications.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes (wafer fab, assembly, and test).
• Expertise in industry quality and reliability standards and qualification methodologies.
• Proven experience with failure analysis workflows and quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, and root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Mandatory fluency in written and verbal English.
• Ability to work independently in a global, multicultural environment and flexibility for international travel.
