Staff+ Production Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement mission-critical, multi-region deployment infrastructure on AWS
• Lead architecture for deploying the platform into corporate private cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Drive developer velocity through rapid, high-confidence deployment workflows
• Establish state-of-the-art telemetry, monitoring, and alerting ecosystems
• Standardize on-call documentation, incident response, and post-mortem procedures
• Build robust self-service tools and documentation to empower engineering teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Platform or Production engineer on AWS
• Mastery of Terraform and Docker
• Expert-level experience with cloud monitoring and observability (Datadog, NewRelic, Prometheus, or Grafana)
• Advanced capability in building internal tooling using Python or Rust
• Proven track record in cost optimization and resource management in high-scale environments
• Strong communication skills for documenting complex distributed systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Operational experience across Azure or GCP
• Experience with GPU performance tuning and scaling for AI/ML workloads
• Familiarity with real-time, low-latency streaming services
• Experience designing self-serve developer platforms with usage-based billing or quota management
