Staff Product Manager

Responsibilities

• Build the AI-powered freight operating system by owning the vision, strategy, and roadmap for end-to-end operational automation.
• Drive measurable business impact, including cost savings, productivity gains, and error reduction, rather than focusing solely on feature output.
• Reengineer underlying operational processes by mapping and redesigning workflows before applying automation solutions.
• Partner across Engineering, Design, Operations, and Commercial teams to translate complex logistics workflows into intuitive, automated systems.
• Use data and analytics frameworks to prioritize investments, track automation rates, and prove product value.
• Shape the medium- and long-term strategy for how Flexport's operations scale through software and AI.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product management experience or equivalent domain-relevant experience.
• Proven track record of delivering quantifiable business impact, such as cost reduction or throughput gains.
• Strong operational process engineering and consulting ability to redesign complex workflows and influence stakeholders.
• Experience building automation, workflow, or AI-powered products that reduce manual human effort.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in SQL.
• Experience shipping intuitive UX in data-dense, complex domains.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for managing tradeoffs and stakeholder alignment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with B2B workflow software, supply chain platforms, or logistics technology.
• Background in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations.
